In the physical store, the walls were covered on every side with delicate textures and knotted threads – a space that smelled of art and gifted visitors with a sense of calm. But the question was always the same: can this feeling be conveyed from behind a screen? Ms. Roostaei, both a teacher and a creator, decided to find the answer. The result is a project where cozy walls turned into minimal design, warm light gave way to a gentle scrolling rhythm, and the texture of threads flows through product photos and details. This is no longer just an online store; it's a digital home for art lovers. A place for shopping, learning, and growing together. No clutter, no noise – but full of soul.

    Design & User Experience Approach

The design of this project was based on three principles:

    Simplicity in harmony with texture

Removing every unnecessary element to ensure complete focus on the product. Product selection and category navigation are kept extremely simple and clear.

    Conveying calm through visual design

The design and animations communicate an artistic, peaceful feeling to the user – not just through color schemes, but through layout, spacing, and page motion.

    Short and straightforward path

From viewing a product to placing an order, or from finding a course to completing registration – every journey is designed to be short and transparent.

The user cannot physically touch the product. Through proper lighting and high-quality images, the feeling of the product's texture – even from behind a screen – is communicated to the audience.

Advanced Rating & Review System by Text & Video

strengths One of the key components of this project was the design and implementation of a multimedia review system. In this system: Each product has a star rating and a separate text review section. Each educational course also has its own independent rating and review section. Users can submit their reviews in video format. All reviews (both text and video) are displayed on the same product or course page. This structure ensures that new users, by watching real video reviews from others, can make purchases or enroll in courses with greater confidence.

    Project Challenges

The main challenge was maintaining a balance between the visual simplicity of the user interface and the logical complexity behind the scenes. The system needed to manage two distinct types of entities (physical products and educational courses) with two types of reviews (text and video) – all accurately and reliably. Additionally, storing and displaying user-uploaded videos without impacting site speed was another technical challenge.

    Implemented Technical Architecture

    Frontend

Frontend: React with TypeScript – to create a secure, readable, and maintainable structure with a fast user experience. Styling: Tailwind CSS – providing full flexibility to implement a completely custom, consistent, and minimal design.

    Backend

Backend: Django – chosen as the logical core of the system to ensure secure data management, stable APIs, and readiness for future development. Database: SQL Server – used for data storage and management, with a focus on stability and data integrity.

    Final Project Outcome

The output of this project is an online store that doesn't just sell products and courses – it creates a space for learning, sharing experiences, and building trust. Before purchasing, users see reviews and videos from others. Before enrolling in a course, they see their learning path on the roadmap. And even before physically touching a product, they feel its texture through images.

Zariisaz is an example of the belief that real trust is the result of precise decisions, attention to detail, and thoughtful design – not clutter and empty claims.
